Account health: status, quality rating and messaging limit
What the status pill, the quality rating and the daily messaging limit on the connected number card mean, and where they come from.
Updated 29 October 2026
The "Connected number" card in Workspace settings › "Channels" shows a status pill and, under it, a line such as "Quality rating GREEN. Messaging limit 1,000 per day." followed by the time it was checked.
Status
- "Connected": the number is sending and receiving.
- "Under review", "Restricted", "Policy violation", "Disable scheduled", "Disabled by Meta", "Removed from Meta": Meta has acted on the account. The same wording appears in a banner on every page, with a link to open Settings › Channels.
Quality rating and messaging limit
Both are values Meta sets for your number. The quality rating reflects how customers react to your messages (blocks and reports lower it). The messaging limit is how many customers you can start conversations with in 24 hours; it reads "unlimited" or "not set yet" when Meta has not assigned one. Meta sends status and limit changes to the CRM as they happen; the quality rating is asked from Meta each time the card opens.
The Broadcast page shows the same limit as "Daily limit" and will not start a campaign whose audience is larger than it.
