Send a broadcast in three steps

Audience, message, review. Approved templates only, checked against your daily limit before anything goes out, with sent, delivered, read and replied counts afterwards.

Updated 29 October 2026

The Broadcast page has three tabs: "New broadcast", "Analytics" and "History". The strip under the title shows the connection status and the daily messaging limit Meta has set for your number.

New broadcast

  1. Audience. Filter the customer list by tag, exclude tags, or search, then tick customers one by one or press "Select filtered" to take everyone who matches. Blocked customers are left out automatically.
  2. Message. Pick an approved Meta template and fill in its variables; the preview on the right shows the message as the customer will see it. Broadcasts can only use templates Meta has approved. On a number linked by QR code, pick a template saved in the CRM instead.
  3. Review & send. Check the audience size, the template and the limit, then send. If the audience is larger than the daily limit, the check tells you and the send button stays off.

When the campaign has gone out, a result card shows what was sent and offers "Start another campaign".

Results

"Analytics" shows sent, delivered, read and replied counts per campaign; "History" lists every campaign. A customer who answers a broadcast appears in the inbox as a normal conversation for your team or the AI agent.

Marketing messages need the customer’s consent under Meta’s rules, and Meta charges your WhatsApp Business Account for the template messages a broadcast delivers.
