Import customers from a CSV file
Upload a CSV, match its columns, and the customers are added or updated by WhatsApp number.

On the Customers page, press "Import CSV". The dialog "Import customers from CSV" has two steps: "1. Upload CSV" and "2. Map columns".
- Choose the CSV file. The dialog reports how many rows it found. "Download a sample CSV" gives you a file with the right headings.
- Match each field to a column of your file. Only the WhatsApp number is required; name, email, phone and tags are optional.
- Press "Import N customers".
Columns we understand
name, email, phone, whatsappNumber and tags. Several tags on one customer are separated by a vertical bar, for example vip|karachi. If your numbers are written without a country code, pick the "Default country" in the dialog and its code is added for you.
Customers are added, or updated if the WhatsApp number already exists, so importing the same file twice does not create duplicates. If the column you mapped as the WhatsApp number contains letters, the dialog warns you before anything is imported.
